The Center for Excellence "Heritage BG", funded under the Operational Program "Education and Science for Smart Growth" (OP ESSG), brings together the capabilities of four universities, six institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the National Library, the Regional History Museum in Sofia, a number of non-governmental organizations, and business initiatives.
From April 18 to April 20, 2022, the second annual scientific conference dedicated to International Cultural Heritage Day will be held at the Rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (Conference Hall).
Fifty-three researchers will participate in the 2022 conference with presentations. The presentations are divided into the following thematic modules:
• Theoretical approaches to cultural heritage preservation
• Balkan history and culture
• Philology, codicology, and literature
• Architectural impressions
• Lifestyle, arts, and crafts
• Recreational industries, health, and wellness culture
On the days of the conference, participant registration will take place from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.

*) Припомняме, че първата научна конференция по проекта BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001 „Изграждане и развитие на Център за върхови постижения „Наследство БГ“, посветена на Международния ден за опазване на паметниците на културата през 2021 г. се проведе между 28 и 29 юни 2021 г. (по изключение поради COVID-19). В нея бяха представени 30 доклада от членове на изследователски екипи, като 15 от тях преминаха през процедура на peer-review и са включени в първия брой на "Bulletin "Heritage BG" – Scientific News" .
