On June 17-18, 2025, the fifth annual scientific conference of the Center for Excellence "Heritage BG" will be held in the "Yaytse" hall of the Rectorate building of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Traditionally, it is dedicated to a wide range of issues within the thematic scope of the Centre for Excellence, related to cultural, historical and natural heritage, as well as to innovations in science and the building of a "bridge" between business and science.
The conference organizers are expecting written applications (in Bulgarian and English) from participants by May 25, 2025, containing the name(s) of the participant(s), the topic, and a summary of the presentation. Applications should be sent to project@nasledstvo.bg. We hope that the papers will not have more than three authors.
At the conference itself, each participant will have 15 minutes to present their paper. The presentation will be followed by a discussion on the topic of the paper. The official languages of the conference are Bulgarian and English.
The conference program will be announced on the website of the Center for Cultural Heritage "Heritage BG" (https://www.nasledstvo.bg) by the end of May 2025. After the conference, the texts of the papers may be submitted for publication in the Center's periodical (Scientific News. Bulletin "Heritage BG"). We recommend that texts approved for publication be translated into English. Submitted texts undergo a blind peer-review process.
