Academic Week "The Unknown Balkans"

The academic weeks "The Unknown Balkans" include both a purely academic part, expressed in lectures and discussions, and a part dedicated to the youngest scientists – schools and workshops that introduce children to the history of the Balkans from Antiquity to the Present Day in the form of a game.

Discussion Club: The Unknown Balkans
Scholars from the Institute of Balkan Studies with the Center for Thracology, together with guests from other academic institutions in the country, discuss lesser-known or topical historical processes with a territorial focus – the Balkans.

The Unknown Balkans: On the Historical Novel
A series of discussions aimed at drawing the public's attention to the historical novel and its influence on contemporary society.

Lectures
One of the main activities of the members of the Unknown Balkans project is giving lectures to teachers and museum workers in the country.
