The Center for Excellence "Heritage BG" is organizing an expert discussion with the participation of partners in project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001, representatives of numerous museums, private collectors, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Electronic Governance, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, and representatives of the business community.
The meeting will discuss expectations for the development of museum work in Bulgaria in tactical, strategic, and functional terms. Possible approaches for building effective digital collections and virtual museums will be discussed.

We expect our initiative to contribute to the better implementation of Bulgarian museums and to make their collections accessible to a wider range of users.
The National Meeting on "The Future of Bulgarian Museums – Digitization and Other Contemporary Opportunities for Their Sustainable Development" will be held on May 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in Hall 1 of the Rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" (15 Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., Sofia).
