The Cyril and Methodius Scientific Center at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad are organizing an international student competition entitled "Traces of Cyril and Methodius' Work Around the World." This joint initiative is part of the anniversary celebrations in 2023 marking 1160 years since the creation of the Slavic alphabet and aims to promote the work of Cyril -Methodius' work among Bulgarian migrant communities on all continents, enrich the knowledge of students from Bulgarian Sunday schools abroad, develop their talents, and encourage their research interests.
There are three categories: research project, essay or short story on the theme "In Their Footsteps" and drawing on the theme "Bulgarian Alphabets". Competition entries must be sent by 31 May 2023 to: kmnc.konkurs@gmail.com
