On October 24, 2019, a round table discussion will be held on the topic "In Search of Priceless Documents." It is organized by the National Library of St. St. Cyril and Methodius (NBKM) as a partner in project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001. The event will take place in the NLCM conference room (second floor) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The NLCM team will give a presentation on "Getting to know the literary heritage - traditions and perspectives." This will be followed by a discussion on the topic. There will be a demonstration of how the documents arrive at the library, how they are dusted, restored, digitized, and made available through the library's website. There will be a visit to the "History of the Book" hall, where the "Adopt a Book" initiative will be presented in more detail.
