
On October 1, 2025, the Bulgarian Pavilion at EXPO 2025 will host Aquaphotomics Day with the participation of Bulgarian and Japanese scientists in partnership with the Heritage BG Center for Cultural Heritage.
The team of NSA "V. Levski", partner in project BG16RFPR002-1.014-0011 "Sustainable Development of the Center for Excellence "Heritage BG", funded under the procedure for granting non-repayable financial aid No. BG16RFPR002-1.014 "Sustainable Development of Centers of Excellence and Centers of Competence, including specific infrastructures or their associations from the National Roadmap for Scientific Infrastructure, and students majoring in Wellness and Spa (Wellness & Spa) culture will take part in an international event related to the latest science on water and its mirror effect - Aquaphotomics.
Japanese and Bulgarian scientists will also participate in the event. Students from the National Sports Academy "V. Levski" from the Bachelor's degree program, as well as Master's students from two programs (PN.7.6 Sports and 7.5. Health Care) will also take part.
World-renowned Bulgarian researcher and author of the new science of Aquaphotomics, Prof. Rumyana Tsenkova (https://www.lab.kobe-u.ac.jp/ans-nirslab/profile_tsenkova. html) is part of the NSA team and has already conducted training on the development of Aquagrams for a team of researchers and doctoral students and measurement with a near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer. She advises the NSA "V. Levski" team on site in Bulgaria on the latest trends in specialized equipment.
