
On January 10, 2022, a seminar was held on the topic: "16th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Intangible Cultural Heritage - December 13-18, 2021", which brought together the two teams working on the projects "Policies for the preservation and socialization of (intangible and movable) cultural heritage" and "Policies for the preservation and promotion of immovable cultural values of local significance in Bulgaria. Ethnological analysis based on the examples of the municipalities of Balchik, Kavarna, Garmen, and Sandanski" (July 2021-July 2023) within the framework of project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001 – establishment and development of the Center for Excellence "NASLEDSTVO BG" (activity B). The event was also attended by representatives of the Expert Council on Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Assoc. Prof. Mila Santova presented the main issues and problems discussed during the international event and directly related to the activities of scientists within the projects of the Center for Excellence "Nasledstvo.bg". The discussion focused on reporting activities and developments related to the preparation and inscription of cultural heritage elements on the various UNESCO lists.
