On June 12, 2020, a contract was awarded to EVOLINK AD (www.evolink.com) for the execution of a public procurement contract titled “Provision of colocation for the needs of the Big Data Processing Center in implementation of project BG05M2OP001 -1.001-0001 ‘Establishment and Development of the Center of Excellence “Heritage BG,” funded under the Operational Program “Science and Education for Smart Growth” 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 “Scientific Research and Technological Development,” co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).”
The contract provides for the following colocation services:
1. Provision of physical space in specialized rooms for the installation and housing of server equipment constituting the hardware infrastructure of a Center for the storage and processing of large data sets.
2. Ensuring the necessary conditions for the uninterrupted operation of the Data Center (required power supply and Internet connection, maintenance of precise climate control and access control, technical maintenance of the specialized premises, and system administration of Internet connectivity for the duration of the contract.
