On June 11, 2020, at the building of the Center for Archimetry at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (Sofia, Lozenets Residential District, 35 Galichitsa Street), contracts were awarded to the selected contractors under a public procurement procedure with the subject “Supply, installation, and commissioning of specialized equipment for the needs of the Center for Archimetry with a conservation and restoration laboratory in implementation of Project No. BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001 "Establishment and Development of the Center of Excellence 'Heritage BG', funded under the Operational Program "Science and Education for Smart Growth" 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 “Scientific Research and Technological Development,” co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), divided into 4 separate lots as follows: Lot No. 1: Supply of spectrometers; Lot No. 2: Supply of a laser scanner with a field computer; Lot No. 3: Supply of a digital radiography system; Lot No. 4: Supply of a laser geodetic scanner.”
The contract for the supply of spectrometers (Lot No. 1) is valued at 163,450.00 BGN excluding VAT and will be performed by Infolab Ltd. (https://www.infolab-bg.com/ ).
“NDT Products and Systems” Ltd. ( https://www.ndt-ps.com/index.php/bg/ ) will perform the contract for Lot No. 3 and will supply a digital radiography system valued at 220,166.00 BGN excluding VAT.
For Lot No. 4 (supply of a laser geodetic scanner), a contract has been concluded with Solitech AD (https://www.solitech.bg/bg/ ) in the amount of BGN 94,350.00 excluding VAT.
“Euromarket – BRD” EOOD ( http://www.euromarket.bg/ ) will execute a contract worth 90,830.00 BGN excluding VAT for the supply of a laser scanner with a field computer (Lot No. 2).
The expansion of the Center for Archimetry will create the necessary conditions for scientific and applied archimetric research and development, as well as for the training of conservation and restoration specialists.
