Solemn celebration of the Dormition of St. Constantine-Cyril the Philosopher, the 1,150th anniversary of the ordination of St. Methodius as archbishop, and the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the Holy Brothers as co-patrons of Europe

On February 14, 2020, a solemn ceremony was held in the hall of the National Museum of Earth and Man to commemorate the repose of St. Constantine-Cyril the Philosopher, the 1,150th anniversary of the ordination of St. Methodius as archbishop, and the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the holy brothers as co-patrons of Europe.

On February 14, 2020, a solemn ceremony was held in the hall of the National Museum of Earth and Man to commemorate the repose of St. Constantine-Cyril the Philosopher, the 1,150th anniversary of the ordination of St. Methodius as archbishop, and the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the holy brothers as co-patrons of Europe.

The event was organized and hosted by the Cyril and Methodius Scientific Center at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (CMSC) as a partner in project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001.

The choir of the St. Constantine and Cyril the Philosopher National High School of Ancient Languages and Cultures participated in the ceremonial part of the event.
