On October 24, 2019, a roundtable discussion titled “In Search of Priceless Documents” will take place. It is organized by the St. Cyril and St. Methodius National Library (SCMNL) as a partner in project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001. The event will take place in the NLC’s conference room (second floor) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The NLC team will give a presentation on the topic: “Exploring Literary Heritage—Traditions and Perspectives.” This will be followed by a discussion on the topic. There will be a demonstration of the condition in which documents arrive at the library, how they are dusted, restored, and digitized, and how they become accessible through the library’s website. A visit will be made to the “History of the Book” hall, where the “Adopt a Book” initiative will be presented in greater detail.
