The exhibition was organized by the Cyril and Methodius Research Center at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. At the invitation of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw, it has been on display in its exhibition hall since March 6, 2020.
The exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part includes 16 poster-sized images—reproductions of icons depicting Slavic enlighteners from the late 19th century and frescoes of the Holy Seven from the dome of the Church of the Holy Seven in Sofia from the early 20th century. The second part features 15 original icons by contemporary Bulgarian artists—Lubomil Draganov, Lyubomir Getov, Maria-Margarita Ivanova-Getova, Maria Kukova, Maria Milova, Totka Grigorova, dedicated to the Slavic enlighteners Cyril and Methodius and to the great Christian feast of "Christ's Resurrection."
