Question No. 3:

One of the most intriguing and popular exhibits at the Regional History Museum – Sofia is the Louis XVI-style “Golden Carriage.” It is so named because of its many gilded details. Even the fabrics are a golden-yellow color, achieved by dyeing them with South American fruits. The carriage was brought from Versailles to Sofia for the reception of the newlyweds, Prince Ferdinand I of Bulgaria and Princess Maria Luisa of Bourbon-Parma, in 1893. It is a unique exhibit in Bulgaria. Due to its high artistic and historical value, it has the status of a national treasure.
