On April 23, 2020, in Hall 1 of the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” in compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols, a contract was signed for the implementation of project BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001 “Establishment and Development of the Center of Excellence ‘Heritage BG,’ funded under the Operational Program ‘Science and Education for Smart Growth’ 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 “Scientific Research and Technological Development,” co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).”
The contract is for a public procurement project titled “Engineering services (preparation of a detailed design, execution of construction and installation works, and supervision) for the representative building of the Center of Excellence at 7 Gen. Gurko St. No. 7, Sofia, under Project No. BG05M2OP001-1.001-0001 “Construction and Development of the Center of Excellence ‘Heritage BG’,” funded under the Operational Program “Science and Education for Smart Growth” 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 “Scientific Research and Technological Development,” co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).”
The contractor “Stroitel” EOOD shall prepare an investment project, perform construction, installation, restoration, and other necessary activities for the site, exercise design supervision during construction, complete the construction, and prepare an as-built drawing (if necessary), and provide warranty maintenance. The completion deadline is 180 calendar days. The total contract value is BGN 782,400 (including VAT).
